In June, PRiME’s Executive Director, Dr. Collin Hitt sat down with Kelly Garrett for a candid conversation. Garrett, who stepped down from this leadership role at KIPP STL after 14 transformative years, has been a veteran of the education reform movement since his 1992 Teach for America days. He helped grow KIPP STL from one school into a high-performing network serving more than 2,300 students—predominantly Black and from low-income backgrounds.
