An Uneven Rebound: Analyzing Results from the 2025 NAEP Long-Term Trends (LTT) Assessment

This report analyzes the 2025 LTT NAEP results for 9-year-old and 13-year-old students nationally. We examine overall performance trends as well as trends by student demographic subgroup, socioeconomic status, amount students read for fun, and school attendance.
