This report analyzes the 2025 LTT NAEP results for 9-year-old and 13-year-old students nationally. We examine overall performance trends as well as trends by student demographic subgroup, socioeconomic status, amount students read for fun, and school attendance.

Since 2020, SLU has partnered with YouGov to poll Missouri likely voters on relevant political and education-related issues. In this brief, we dive into the results, focusing specifically on the education questions posed to voters in the Spring 2026 iteration of the survey.
